Nineroot Technologies Private Limited (“Chqbook”) values your privacy. In this Privacy Policy ("Policy"), we describe the information that we collect about you when you visit our website, www.chqbook.com (the “Website”) or our mobile application (Chqbook App) and use the services available on the Website (“Services”) or our mobile application, and how we use and disclose that information.

Your use of the Website, our mobile application, and/or Services and any personal information you provide on the Website or our mobile application remains subject to the terms of the Policy and Chqbook's Terms of Use. Our Privacy Policy is subject to change from time to time. It is strongly recommended that you periodically review our Privacy Policy as available on the Chqbook mobile application / Website.

A. TYPE OF DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU

“Personal Information” will inter alia include any information which is directly or indirectly available with us to identify or verify individual identity. This may also include sensitive personal data which inter alia includes financial information such as bank account, credit and debit card details, biometric information.

“Non-Personal Information” may be collected by Chqbook which cannot be used to identify individual, while you are using Chqbook Platform. This information inter alia includes IP address, browser type, name of your internet service provider

(Personal Information and Non-Personal Information hereinafter together referred to as the “combined information”).

Transactional Information (Money Flow)

UPI ID, details from payment system providers, TPAPs,, name of issuing bank, merchant’s name, category and other identifiers along with the details of products or services purchased or paid for, mode of payment, location, the date, currency and amount of the transaction, whether the payment was successful, and other information provided by you directly or indirectly to us or provided to us by banks, merchants or other service providers or business partners.

Usage and Technical Information

IP addresses, application, device or browser type, versions and configurations, operating systems, device brand and model, time zone setting, geo-location information, content, unique identifiers associated with your device(s) and pages that you access on the Website(s), Apps or Platforms, and the dates and times that you visit the Website, App or Platform, and paths taken.

Credit and Lending Information

Credit or affluence related information or assessment, credit information report, credit or affluence score or reliability scores provided by third parties such as financial institutions or credit information companies or account aggregators or similar third parties as permitted under applicable laws of India including our business partners, independent service providers and our group entities.

Marketing and Communication Information

Communications with customer service support, behavioural data (for example, data collected using cookies), information about promotions, surveys, promotional campaigns and records of your decision(s) to subscribe or to withdraw from receiving marketing materials, if any.

Information in your device(s)

We may also access your contact list, call records, SMS, camera, media files and location data in your devices for various purposes after seeking necessary permissions.

We process/collect data received (a) directly from you through Chqbook Platforms or through different communication channels or the services or product you entail to use and when you provide your details in forms, surveys, online applications or similar online fields (b) indirectly from third party sources including but not limited to credit institution companies, market research, publicly available information, payment gateway companies, business partners, financial institutions.

All these data are processed in regard to providing you better services and product,managing our relationship with you, fulfilment of contractual and regulatory obligations.

During the account opening process on Chqbook Platform, you do not share aadhaar number with Chqbook. You would be redirected to the Partner Bank platform for completing your aadhaar verification.

Customers are required to create an account to be able to access certain portions of our Website or our mobile application, such as to submit questions, participate in polls or surveys, and request information. Service Professionals, if and when they create an account with Chqbook, will be required to disclose information including personal contact details, agree to participation in polls or surveys or feedbacks or any other information that can help customer satiate its needs. The type of personal information that we collect from you varies based on your particular interaction with our Website or mobile application.

Consumers: During the Account registration process, we will collect information such as your name, postal code, telephone email address and other personal information. You also may provide us with your mailing address, and demographic information (e.g., gender, age, political preference, education, race or ethnic origin, and other information relevant to user surveys and/or offers). We may also collect personal information that you post in your Offer, Profile, Wants, or Feedback, and any comments or discussions you post in any blog, chat room, or other correspondence site on the Website or mobile application, or any comments you provide during dispute resolution with other users of the Website or mobile application.

Service Professionals: If you are a Service Professional and would like to post any information about yourself, we will require you to register for an Account. During the Account registration process, we will collect your business name, telephone number, address, zip code, travel preferences, a description of your services, a headline for your profile, first and last name, and email address. In addition, you may, but are not required to, provide other content or information about your business, including photographs and videos. We also may collect payment information, such as credit card information, from you.

If we deem it necessary, in our sole and absolute discretion, we may also ask for and collect supplemental information from third parties, such as information about your credit from a credit bureau (to the extent permitted by law), or information to verify any identification details you provide during registration.

COLLECTION OF AUTOMATIC INFORMATION, USE OF COOKIES, AND OTHER TRACKING:

We and our third-party service providers, which include ad networks, use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our Website , our mobile application, and Services, such as your browser type, your ISP or operating system, your domain name, your access time, the URL of the previous Website you visited, your page views, your IP address, and the type of device that you use. We also track how frequently you visit our Website or our mobile application and use our Services. Currently, we do not honour browser requests not to be tracked

We may obtain your device ID, which is sent to Chqbook's servers and used in fraud prevention efforts Cookies - We and our third-party service providers collect information from you by using cookies. A cookie is a small file stored on user's computer hard drive containing information about the user. The cookie helps us analyze web traffic or informs you about your use of a particular website. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual, tailoring its operations to your needs, likes, and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Clear GIFs, pixel tags and other technologies: Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer's hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or pixel tags), in connection with our Website to, among other things, track the activities of Website visitors, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Website usage. B. HOW CHQBOOK USES THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We understand the importance of your Personal and Non-Personal Information and ensure that it is used for the intended purpose only. We access, store and use the combined information we collect from you in accordance with the applicable laws to provide our Services, to research and develop new ones subject to the limitations set out in this Privacy Policy.

We require the profiling information which includes details such as identity details, contact details, usernames and passwords in order to manage our relationship with you and provide services to you. This information is used for specific business purposes or for other related purposes designated by Chqbook or for a lawful purpose to comply with the applicable laws and regulatory and contractual obligations which inter alia includes:

  1. developing and providing banking or non-banking facilities, products or services (whether made available by us or through us), including but not limited to executing investments, banking, commercial or other transactions and clearing or reporting on these transactions;
  2. carrying out research, planning and statistical analysis;
  3. analytics for the purposes of developing or improving our products, services,security, service quality, and advertising strategies;
  4. assessing and processing applications, instructions or requests from you;
  5. communicating with you, including providing you with updates on changes to products, services and banking facilities (whether made available by us or through our business partners) including any additions, expansions, suspensions and replacements of or to such products, services and banking facilities and their terms and conditions;
  6. managing our infrastructure and business operations and complying with internal policies and procedures;
  7. responding to your queries or feedback;
  8. addressing or investigating any complaints, claims or disputes;
  9. verifying your identity for the purposes of providing banking facilities, products or services;
  10. conducting credit checks, screenings or due diligence checks as may be required under applicable law, regulation or directive or under contractual arrangement with Partner Bank and Non-Banking Financial Company;
  11. to prevent or detect crime including fraud and financial crime, e.g. financing for terrorism;
  12. financial reporting, regulatory reporting, management reporting, risk management (including monitoring credit exposures), audit and record keeping purposes;
  13. To enter into a contract with you or to take steps pursuant to your request prior to entering into a contract.
  14. to use it in other ways as required or permitted by law or with your consent;
  15. The data collected by cookies helps us track, analyse and understand your trends so as to enable us to understand lacunas (such as slow response time on our website page or application) and improve your interactive experience of using our Services, our design, features and functionalities.

You expressly consent to share your Personal Information with our business partners, third party, collection agencies, Partner Banks with whom we have contractual arrangement for the purpose which are not limited to improving existing Services, data enrichment, generate affluence score, outsourcing relationship management activity, collection of overdue, launch of ancillary service or product.

We may share your combined information with the companies that we plan to merge with or entities that we may acquire or be acquired by subject to the provisions of applicable law, in which situation we will require that the new combined entity or the acquired/ acquiring entity follows Chqbook’s Privacy Policy with respect to your Personal Information.

We may share your Personal Information when required by law enforcement, regulatory bodies, government officials, fraud detection agencies, financial institutions or other third parties as and when we are compelled to do so under applicable laws, courts, judicial and quasi-judicial authorities and tribunals, arbitrators and arbitration tribunal. Chqbook ensures that every third party that is involved in the processing of your Personal Information under a contract with us has the required organizational and technical protections in place as may be required in accordance with applicable laws in India.

You further understand that we may use your combined information that is collected by us to market our product and Services including product and services of our business partners, independent service providers and/or our group entities and affiliates and to notify you about offers, sponsorships, marketing programmes and similar marketing campaigns. We may also process and analyse your information that we have of you to understand your usage trends and preferences, and to develop and market (either ourselves or through our group companies, our business partners or any other third parties) new products, services, features and functions to you based on such analysis of your Personal Information.

C. ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS, INVITATIONS, POLLS AND SURVEYS

At our sole discretion, Chqbook may offer any of the following free services on the Website, which you may select to use or receive at your option. Certain of the following services may require you to provide additional personal information as detailed below:

1. ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS

We may offer a free electronic newsletter to users. We will gather the email addresses of users who sign up for Chqbook for the newsletter mailing list. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by opting out of receiving newsletters during the registration process, by following the link provided in each newsletter that points users to a subscription management page where the user can unsubscribe from receiving newsletters or by changing their preferences in their Profile Settings page.

2. POLLING

We may offer interactive polls to users so they can easily share their opinions with other users and see what our audience thinks about important issues, Services, and/or the Website. Opinions or other responses to polls are aggregated and are not identifiable to any particular user. We may use a system to "tag" users after they have voted, so they can vote only once on a particular question. This tag is not correlated with information about individual users.

3. SURVEYS

We may conduct user surveys from time to time to better target our content to our Website users. We will not share individual responses from these surveys with any third party. We will share aggregate data with third-party service providers, partners, and other third parties. We also will post aggregate data containing survey responses on our Website; that data may be viewed and downloaded by other users of our website.

We employ procedural and technological security measures, which are reasonably designed to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Chqbook may use encryption, passwords, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. No security measures, however, are 100% complete. Therefore, we do not promise and cannot guarantee, and thus you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will not be collected and used by others. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. Chqbook is not responsible for the unauthorized use of your information or for any lost, stolen, compromised passwords, or for any activity on your Account via unauthorized password activity.

E. DISCLOSURE

We may share the information that we collect about you, including your personal information, as follows:

1. INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO PROTECT US AND OTHERS

We may disclose your information including Personal Information, if:

  1. Chqbook reasonably believes that disclosure is necessary in order to comply with a legal process (such as a court order, search warrant, etc.) or other legal requirement of any governmental authority,
  2. Disclosure would potentially mitigate our liability in an actual or potential lawsuit,
  3. Reasonably necessary to enforce this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, etc.
  4. Disclosure is intended to help investigate or prevent unauthorized transactions or other illegal activities, or
  5. Necessary or appropriate to protect our rights or property, or the rights or property of any person or entity.

2. INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS

We may contract with various third parties for the provision and maintenance of the Chqbook Website or Mobile App, Services, and our business operations, and Chqbook may need to share your combined information and data generated by cookies (collectively, "information") with these vendors and service agencies. For example, we may provide your information to a credit card processing company to process your payment.

The vendors and service agencies receive a right to use your personal information beyond what is necessary to perform its obligations to provide the Services to you. If you complete a survey, we also may share your information with the survey provider; if we offer a survey in conjunction with another entity, we also will disclose the results to that entity.

3. DISCLOSURE TO NON-AFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES IN FURTHERANCE OF YOUR REQUEST

Your request for services may be shared with third party websites with whom we have a contractual relationship in order to provide your request with maximum exposure. The post on the third party website will include the details of your request, including your location, and other contact details. Interested bidders, however, will be able to click on your request on such third party site, and will be directed to our Website where they will have access to your contact details (Partial or complete), as would any other service provider on our Website interested in bidding on your request.

4. INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

We will disclose your information, including, without limitation, your name, city, state, telephone number, email address, user ID history, quoting and listing history, and fraud complaints, to law enforcement or other government officials if we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or otherwise in cooperation with an investigation of a governmental authority.

5. IN THE EVENT OF A CHANGE OF CONTROL OR BANKRUPTCY

In the event that Chqbook undergoes a change in control, including, without limitation, a merger or sale of all or substantially all of Chqbook's assets to which this Website or Mobile app relates or other corporate reorganization in which Chqbook participates, and is thus merged with or acquired by a third party entity (a "Successor"), Chqbook hereby reserves the right to transfer the information we have collected from the users of the Website or Mobile app and/or Services to such Successor.

In addition, in the event of Chqbook's bankruptcy, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application or laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, Chqbook may not be able to control how your information is transferred, used, or treated and reserves the right to transfer the information we have collected from the users of the Website and/or Services to non-affiliated third parties in such event.

6. INFORMATION DISCLOSED AT YOUR REQUEST

We confirm that your confidential and personal information is treated as confidential and not shared with others, Further, we may share your personal information with other Registered Users to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information or if you explicitly consent to such disclosure upon receipt of a specific Service. For instance, when you contract for a specific Service with another Registered User, Chqbook will send that Registered User a notice that includes the personal information that you have chosen to allow Chqbook to reveal to users with whom you contract.

It is provided that you also have a right to withdraw his consent from sharing sensitive personal data/information by writing to Chqbook at care@chqbook.com.

F. WHAT CHOICES DO I HAVE REGARDING USE OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may send periodic promotional or informational emails to you. You may opt out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email. Please note that it may take up to 10 (Ten) business days for us to process opt-out requests.

If you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you emails about your Account or any Services you have requested or received from us.

G. THIRD-PARTY AD NETWORKS

We participate in third-party ad networks that may display advertisements on other websites based on your visits to our Site as well as other websites. This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements by displaying ads for products and services in which you might be interested. Third party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. H. YOUR FULL NAME AND USE OF CHQBOOK INFORMATION

1. YOUR FULL NAME

As a Registered User of the Chqbook Website or Mobile App you will select a Full Name during the registration process. All of your activities on the Chqbook Website or Mobile App will be traceable to your Full Name. Certain other people, including other Registered Users with whom you have transacted business via the Chqbook Website or Mobile App, can see a large part of your activity on the Chqbook Website or Mobile App. If you book a service with a Registered User, cancel a scheduled service with a Registered User, receive an offer on your posted service from a Registered User, or have posted a service, Chqbook may send a notice to you or the appropriate Registered User that includes your Full Name. Thus, if you associate your real name with your Full Name, the people to whom you have revealed your name may be able to personally identify your Chqbook Website or Mobile App activities.

2. USING INFORMATION FROM CHQBOOK

The Chqbook Website or Mobile App facilitates your sharing of personal information with others in order to negotiate, provide, and use the Services. If you agree to contract for a service with another Registered User, you may need to reveal your name, email, phone number, or personal address to that individual so that the service may be performed. Please respect the privacy of others. You agree to use the information of other users solely for the following purposes: (a) Chqbook-transaction-related purposes; and (b) using Services offered through the Chqbook Website or Mobile App.

3. ACCOUNT PROTECTION

Your password is the key to your Account. When creating your password you should use unique numbers, letters, special characters, and combinations thereof. In addition, DO NOT disclose your password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, you are solely responsible for all actions taken via your Account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Thus, IF YOUR PASSWORD HAS BEEN COMPROMISED FOR ANY REASON, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY CHQBOOK TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

I. USER GENERATED CONTENT

We invite you to post content on our Website, including your comments, feedback, pictures, and any other information that you would like to be available on our Website. If you post content to our Website, all of the information that you post will be available to all visitors to our Website. If you post your own content on our Website or Services, your posting may become public and Chqbook cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that may violate this Policy, the law, or your personal privacy.

CHQBOOK ENCOURAGES YOU TO REVIEW THIS POLICY REGULARLY FOR ANY CHANGES. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THIS WEBSITE AND/OR CONTINUED PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO US WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS OF THE THEN-CURRENT POLICY.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES:

Further, we may share your personal information with other corporate entities and affiliates to facilitate transaction(s).
