This Chqbook School Fees Contest (“The Contest”) is brought to you by Nineroot Technologies Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Chqbook.com”) from the 12th day of April 2021 (“Effective Date”). Please read the below terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) carefully before participating in the Contest. By participating in the Contest, you agree that you will be bound by the T&Cs and you acknowledge and agree that you satisfy the eligibility requirements of the Contest as provided herein below. It is further provided that, the T&Cs will prevail with respect to the Contest only.
For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires "you" or "your" shall mean an individual, natural person who is a participant in the Contest.
Eligibility Criteria
a) To be eligible for the Contest you should be of an age of 18 years or above.
b) To enter this contest, you need to install the Chqbook app and create your “Chqbook Khata account”.
c) The duration of the Contest shall be for a period of one (1) month, commencing from the Effective date i.e. April 12, 2021 to May 12, 2021.
d) To be eligible to win this contest, you need to make at least 10 (ten) entries on your Chqbook Khata account every week, during the contest.
e) The winner of this contest can avail the reward of one (1) month’s school fees, for their child. Provided that, the reward is entitled to be claimed by the winner for their one (1) child only.
f) Maximum reward value is Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand).
g) A verified receipt of the school fees with the Amount of school fees, Name of the Pupil and its Parent should be produced to claim the reward.
h) You should have a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of a PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian Passport.
Details of the Contest & How to Enter
a) To enter the Contest, you must during the period of contest sign-in to your Chqbook Account. If you do not have an account, you would need to sign-up to create a Chqbook Account.
b) Once signed-in, you can participate in the contest by navigating to the Chqbook Khata Dashboard.
c) You shall make at least ten (10) entries on your Chqbook Khata Account every week to be eligible for the Contest’s Lucky-Draw. The entries on your Chqbook Khata Account, should be made for at least three (3) days in a week during the Contest period.
d) If you do not participate within the given Contest period or make less than required or incomplete entries during Contest period, you will not be eligible for the Contest.
e) The winner of this contest will be announced within a period of 7 working days from the last date of the contest i.e. May 12, 2021.
Prizes
Subject to fulfilment of these Terms & Conditions, the below “prizes” will be awarded under the contest to such number of winners as provided here.
Winner of this contest will be rewarded with a prize of one (1) month school fees of their child to be paid by Chqbook.com, on producing their child’s valid school-fee receipt.
A verified receipt of the school fees with the details i.e., Amount of fees, Name of the pupil and its Parent should be produced to claim the reward.
The payment of Fees will be done by Chqbook.com with a maximum capping of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand).
Lucky winner will be decided by way of a Lucky Draw to be conducted by Chqbook.com.
Prize to be distributed to the selected winner will be taxable under income tax act and withholding tax applicable thereon would be levied on the market value of prize.
Odds of Winning
The Odds of Winning depend on the number of participations of Eligible Users.
Eligible Users are one that satisfy the eligibility criteriaoutlined above and follow the steps provided under “Details of the Contest & How to Enter”
There will not be any fixed ratio of winning, as the winning ratio will depend on the number of users playing the contest.
Prize Drawing
Chqbook.com will notify the participants, eligible to claim the prize through the mode of an e-mail or an SMS as per the registration details provided on Chqbook App, following the draw.
By agreeing to participate and entering into the contest, you agree that you have a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN card/Driving License/ Voter ID /Indian Passport and you may be required to share the said document(s) with Chqbook.com as and when requested.
You will automatically forfeit your claim to the prize if you do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with the Terms & Conditions. Further, if eligible and selected, you will need to claim the prize within seven (7) days from the date of declaration of reward, failing which you will deem to have forfeited the prize. The procedure of claiming the prize will be as instructed by Chqbook.com, whereby you may be required to provide the requested details.
Additional Terms:
Chqbook.com may to the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law and its sole discretion, change the terms of the Terms & Conditions or cancel the contest at any time. No benefits greater than those described in the “Details of the Contest & How to Enter” and “Prizes” sections above in the Terms & Conditions will be awarded.
Winner Announcement
After Chqbook.com confirms the winners, it will contact each winner individually through the mode of an email or an SMS as per the registration details provided on the Chqbook App.
Chqbook.com reserves the right to post the name of the Contest Winners on the notification page of Chqbook and its digital media platform. It also reserves the right to publicly announce the identity of the Contest winners through its online and offline channels.
